What is Hawaii Optimum Performance?
HOP is a strength and conditioning company that focuses on injury prevention and performance enhancement. Training in private or group sessions, HOP will help you improve your fitness and health through exercise and education.
Can you improve my flexibility and balance?
All HOP programs incorporate flexibility, core strength and balance training. These are the building blocks that are needed to produce strength, power and speed. HOP sessions always start with dynamic warm ups and end with static stretching exercises to help improve flexibility and balance.
Will this program make me quicker and faster?
HOP Training is all about movement efficiency. Running, jumping and squatting with proper mechanics will inevitably increase your power, speed and agility. HOP programs are geared to get you up to speed fast.
How long is the program?
HOP Training has many different phases depending on your goal(s). It takes six to eight weeks, exercising three times a week, to get any physiological change, but after two weeks of training you should start to feel a difference. Prior to starting HOP Training, a private consultation and functional movement screening is performed to determine the appropriate program and frequency needed to attain your goals.
How many people are in a group?
All training sessions are by appointment only. HOP's group training consists of two to six clients per performance specialist. Group size will vary depending on appointment schedule. HOP also offers private training sessions which may be more appropriate for your goals and comfort.
